  • Tough Enough to Wear Pink was created by entrepreneur and breast cancer survivor Terry Wheatley in 2004 with Karl Stressman, former director of special events for Wrangler and former commissioner of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PCRA), to bring the sport of professional rodeo and the western community together to rally against breast cancer. The campaign has raised millions of dollars for breast cancer charities, much of which stays right in the community. Join 101.7 The Bull as we celebrate another year of Tough Enough To Wear Pink at the Tri-State Rodeo in Fort Madison!   • On Friday, September 10th we have 2 of the hottest voices from 90’s Country Music, David Lee Murphy, and Mark Chesnutt, coming to the Tri-State Rodeo. We invite all attendees to join us in dressing up in their best 90’s country attire! You’ll find it hard to not sing and dance along with every song that these 2 artists sing!

  • We are thankful to our servicemen and women for all of their sacrifices so that we can enjoy our freedoms and bring you the Midwest’s greatest rodeo each year. This is why each year we host a Military Appreciation Night for all active and past service members. There will be a special acknowledgment for all members this night. We offer all active and past military members FREE rodeo tickets for this night. To claim yours simply bring your valid military ID to the ticket office prior to September 11th and claim your tickets.

    Rodeo 5K Run

    Saturday, September 11th, 2021

    • The Rodeo Stampede 5K is a Tri-State Rodeo tradition among community members and rodeo visitors alike. The event begins and ends in front of Faeth’s Cigar Store in downtown Fort Madison. Participants will run/walk 3.1 miles: 8th Street to 23rd Street, to 6th Street and returning to 8th Street. All proceeds will go towards YMCA programs.
    • Deadline for Advance Registration – Friday, August 20, 2021
    • Registration begins at 7:00 am on the event day at 9th Street and Avenue G

    Golf Tournament

    The Tri-State Rodeo Annual Golf Tournament will return this year for its 27th anniversary. Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course will host the 4 person best position event Friday September 10th. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., tee off at 9:00 a.m. The cost for the event will be $25/person and will include golf, cart and lunch.
